Since COVID-19 shut our church buildings we had to think about new ways to meet as a church. This prompted Zoom services but also a move away from the traditional full sermon to shorter reflections on a bible passage. We currently have 2 reflections a week (Wednesday and Sunday) from members of our leadership team - these are being circulated via email, presented on Zoom live and also posted to those members of our church family for whom technology is an issue. If you would like to receive these by email then please do email the Parish Office .

"Over the next three months we are going to be taking a detailed look at the book of James. James covers many important themes relating to Christian discipleship with the aim of encouraging readers to continually grow in their faith and spirituality. We will be called to bold, faith filled prayer; urged to consider how we can support those who are struggling; and encouraged to hold on through the challenges of life. Our prayer is that our series of reflections will offer encouragement and wisdom for all that the next few months will bring." - Rev. Vicki Bryson
"Over the next few months we will be exploring the stories of 3 Biblical giants – Abraham, Elijah and Esther. We will explore their faith, the challenges they faced and where they met God in the midst of them. While each of their experiences is different, we will see how all three journeyed into uncertain futures - facing many obstacles and challenging decisions; but we will also see how their faith led them to meet with God and to find hope in the midst of the circumstances they faced. I pray this series will inspire us to meet God in our current lockdown situation and encourage us to trust in our faith to bring us light and hope, even on the days we feel furthest away." - Rev. Vicki Bryson
